# Inbox

Decisions waiting on you no longer live on a separate approvals screen — they arrive in
[**your Inbox**](../your-inbox.html), the same stream that carries every other notification,
under the bell in the top bar. When a document is routed to you, an **Approval assigned**
item appears there with a **Needs action** badge; if a colleague's assignment times out and
escalates to you, the item arrives marked **Urgent**.

## Reading an approval item

Each item shows the document's label (the PO number, SO number, or adjustment reference),
the organization it belongs to, its priority, and when it arrived. Open the row for the full
detail — what was assigned, at which approval level, and when.

Use the **Open** button to jump to the document under review (the PO detail, SO detail, or
adjustment detail) and inspect line items, totals and history before deciding. If the
document belongs to a different organization than the one you are working in, Beelocity
switches you there automatically.

## Deciding

The buttons are right in the expanded row:

- **Approve** — opens a dialog with an optional comments field; submit to advance the
request. If there are steps after yours, the next approver is notified; if yours was the
last, the document moves forward (for example, a purchase order becomes **Approved**).
- **Reject** — a reason is required; it travels verbatim to the person who submitted the
  request.
- **Delegate** — hand your turn to another eligible member. They receive the assignment in
their own inbox; the request's history records the hand-off.

Once you decide, the item archives itself. If someone else decides first — another approver,
a delegation, a cancellation — the item leaves your inbox on its own, so you never act on
stale work.

## When a request you sent is decided

The outcome lands on the originator's own **[My submissions](my-submissions.html)** item — the
same one that has tracked the request since they sent it, now reading *Approved* or
*Rejected* with any rejection reason quoted in full.
