# List your products

A product shows in your store once you **list** it. A listing is only the product, its link in your
store and its place in your order: its name, photos, price and stock are read from the product, the
store's price list and the store's warehouse every time a buyer looks. Change a price or receive
stock, and the store shows it straight away.

## Add products to the store

The quickest way is from the products you already have:

1. Open **Inventory**, then **Products**.
2. Tick the products you want to sell online. Search first to narrow the list.
3. Click **Add to the store**, then **Confirm**.

The message says how many were added. A product already in the store is left as it is, and one that
was unlisted is listed again. A bundle or a service cannot be sold online, and the message says so
rather than adding it.

To add a single product, open **Online Store**, then **Listings**, click **New**, pick the product
and click **Save**.

## The listings page

**Online Store › Listings** shows every product in your store, in your order:

- **Photo**: the product's main photo.
- **Product** and **Link**: the product's name, and its part of the address in your store. The link
is made from the product's name when you list it and does not follow a rename, so a link a buyer
  shared keeps working.
- **Price**: the price a buyer pays, with `TVA` included, from the store's price list. For a product
with variants, the lowest of them.
- **In stock**: what the store's warehouse can sell now. For a product with variants, all of them
  together.
- **Showing**: **Yes** when buyers can see it, **Not listed** when you took it off, and otherwise
  every reason it is hidden.

Use **Filters** on **Showing** to see, for instance, every product still waiting for a photo.

## Why a product is not showing

A listed product is hidden while one of these is true. Each is the product's or the store's to fix,
not the listing's:

| Showing reads | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| **Store not open** | The store is a draft, paused or suspended | Open the store, or reopen it |
| **Product inactive** | The product itself is inactive | Reactivate the product, or unlist it |
| **Not sold online** | It is a bundle or a service, which cannot be sent to a buyer | Unlist it |
| **No active variant** | None of the product's variants is active | Activate a variant |
| **No photo** | The product has no photo | Add one in the product's **Photos** tab |
| **No price** | The store's price list has no price above zero for it | Price the product in the list |

**Being out of stock does not hide a product.** It shows as out of stock, because a buyer who
follows a shared link should learn that it is sold out, not find nothing at all.

You can list a product before it has a photo or a price: it waits in the store, with its reason
beside it, until you add them.

## Put your products in order, or take one off

Open a listing and click **Edit**:

- **Position** sets its place, lowest first. Saving a place moves the listings from that place down
by one, so to put a product first, give it position `0`.
- **Link** can be changed, with lowercase letters, digits and single hyphens. A link a buyer already
shared stops working when you do, so change it only when you must.

To take a product off the store, open its listing and choose **Unlist** in the **⋮** menu. It keeps
its link, and **List** puts it back. **Delete** removes it for good and frees its link.

## The store's home

**Online Store** opens on two blocks: your store, with where it stands and its link, and **Not
showing**, which counts the listed products buyers cannot see by reason. Click a reason to open the
listings it hides.
