# Your Organization Profile

Every document Beelocity prints for you — an invoice, a quotation, a delivery note — starts with who
you are: your registered name, your address, your legal identifiers. It belongs to the organization
itself, so it lives on the organization's own page: open **Organizations**, click the organization's
**code**, and go to the **Organization profile** tab. You can also fill it in the moment you create
the organization — [Creating an Organization](creating-an-organization.html) walks that.

It has to be filled in before anything can be printed. Until it is, the Print button answers with a
message telling you so rather than producing a document with a blank letterhead.

## What to fill in

- **Legal name** — your company as registered. Required. A **trade name** prints under it when you
  have one.
- **Address**, **phone**, **email**, **website** — printed in the top-left block of every document.
- **NIF**, **NIS**, **RC**, **AI** — your tax identification number, statistical number, commercial
  register number and article of imposition. An invoice without a NIF is one a customer's accounts
  department will send straight back, so fill in at least the NIF and RC.
- **Share capital** and its currency — kept with your legal identity, and shown as an amount in that
  currency ("1,000,000.00 DA") once saved. The letterhead does not print it yet; if you want it on
  the page, the footer line on *Branding Your Documents* is where it goes today.
- **Default treasury account** — which of your bank accounts' RIB and IBAN are printed under
  "Bank details" on an invoice, so customers know where to pay.
- **Default document locale** — the language documents are written in when nothing more specific
  decides: a customer's own language preference overrides it, so does the language preference of
  the person printing, and a choice made at print time overrides all three.
- **Timezone** — the date printed on a document is today *in this zone*. An invoice issued at half
  past midnight in Algiers is dated today, not the yesterday a server clock set to UTC would print.
  Pick a region zone such as *Africa/Algiers*.

Your **logo** is uploaded on *Branding Your Documents*, not here — it belongs to the documents.

## Saving

Click **Edit**, change what you need, **Save**. An organization whose profile has never been filled
in opens straight into the form — there is nothing to look at yet, so there is nothing to edit
*into*. The page refuses a blank legal name and a capital without its currency before anything is
sent, and refuses a bank account or a time zone it does not recognise. Saving the profile never
touches your logo, and never touches the organization's name or code on the tab beside it — each
tab saves its own.

Changes apply to the **next** document you print. A PDF already sent to a customer is its own
record and does not change — see [Printing and Sharing Documents](printing-documents.html).

## Who can see and change it

Opening the tab needs the organization-profile permission; saving needs the matching update
permission. The profile is your organization's identity, so by default only its owners hold them,
and the tab is simply not offered to somebody who holds neither.

Permissions belong to **one** organization, and this page can show you any organization you belong
to. What you may do here is decided by what you hold **in the organization you are looking at** —
not in the one you are currently working in. So an accountant who administers a client's
organization can open it and save its profile without switching to it first.
