Creating an Organization

An organization is the top-level workspace in Beelocity. It acts as a completely isolated environment — products, inventory, partners, users, roles, and settings all belong to exactly one organization. Data never crosses organization boundaries, so each organization is a private, self-contained space.

Think of an organization as your company’s digital home in Beelocity. Everything you do — every product you create, every partner you add, every role you define — lives inside it.

Setup

  1. Sign in and go to the Organizations page.
  2. Click Create Organization.
  3. Fill in:
    • Name — your company or team name (e.g., “Bouzerzour Trading”). This is the display name shown throughout the interface and can be changed later.
    • Code — a short, unique identifier like ACME or DZ-TRADE. The code is typically uppercase, and is used in references across the system. The code is permanent and cannot be changed after creation, so choose it carefully.

You are automatically assigned the Organization Owner role, which grants full access to every feature. From here, you can start configuring your workspace — or invite your team first and set things up together.

Choosing a Good Code

The organization code is meant to be a brief, memorable abbreviation of your company name. A few tips:

  • Keep it short — 2 to 6 characters is ideal.
  • Use uppercase letters for readability (e.g., BZT, ACME, DZT).
  • Make it meaningful — it should be easy for your team to recognize at a glance.
  • Remember it is permanent — once set, it cannot be changed, because it may be referenced throughout the system.

Multi-Organization Support

One user account can belong to several organizations, each with its own roles and permissions. This is useful for:

  • Consultants who manage systems for multiple clients.
  • Holding companies with separate subsidiaries that each need their own workspace.
  • Administrators who oversee several business units within a group.

You can switch between organizations from the user avatar menu in the top corner of the screen. The currently active organization is always shown in the sidebar, and all actions apply only to that organization.
