Organization settings hold the basic details and the reference data of your workspace. Open the Organizations page and click an organization’s code. The settings below are on the Overview tab. Click Edit, change what you need, and click Save.
General
| Setting | Description | Editable? |
|---|---|---|
| Name | The display name of your organization. It appears in the sidebar and in page headers. | Yes, at any time. |
| Code | The short identifier you gave it (for example, BZT). It is the first column of the Organizations list, and the link that opens this page. |
Yes, but your team knows the organization by it. |
| Working language | Beelocity writes the tax classes and codes installed for this organization in this language. A document uses this language if nothing more specific decides. | No. Beelocity asks for it when you create the organization, because it writes these tax classes and codes once and never rewrites them. |
| Default currency | The currency used by default for amounts across the organization, usually DZD (Algerian Dinar). Amounts in this currency show no currency code. Amounts in other currencies show the code, such as 1,250.00 EUR on an imported-goods invoice when the default is DZD. |
Yes |
Two more tabs sit beside Overview:
- Organization profile is the identity that every document prints (Your Organization Profile).
- Roles holds the jobs defined inside this organization (Roles and permissions).
The days your whole business is off by law are kept in Settings, under Calendar. See Public holidays.
Your personal workspace is the one created with your account. It appears in the list like any other organization, but its name and code came with the account. You cannot delete it.
Deleting an organization
Open the organization from the Organizations list and choose Delete. Beelocity asks you to confirm, then removes the organization and everything in it. That means your team’s access to it, and the organization’s partners, products, stock, documents and every setting on this page.
You cannot undo this. That confirmation is the only step between the button and the loss, so read the name in the dialog before you accept. If you only want to stop using an organization, leave it where it is. An unused organization costs you nothing, and its documents stay readable.
Only the owner sees this action, and your personal workspace never offers it.
Countries
Beelocity ships with all 195 internationally recognized countries, following the ISO 3166-1 standard. Countries are a global reference table. All organizations share them, and no organization owns them.
Where Countries Are Used
Countries appear wherever the platform needs a place:
- Warehouse addresses say where your warehouses are.
- Partner addresses give the billing, shipping, headquarters and return locations of your suppliers and clients.
- Currencies are linked to the countries that use them.
Activating and Deactivating Countries
By default, all countries are available. If your business works only in certain regions, you can deactivate the countries you do not need. Dropdown menus and forms then show only the options that matter.
- Deactivating a country hides it from the selection menus in forms, for example when you add a warehouse address.
- Deactivating does not delete the records that use that country, so your history stays intact.
- You can re-activate a country at any time, if your business expands to that region.
For example, if you work only in Algeria and France, you might deactivate all other countries to simplify the address forms for your team.
