Organizations
An organization is the fundamental boundary in Beelocity. Every piece of data — products, warehouses, partners, stock, users, roles — belongs to exactly one organization. Organizations are fully isolated: users in one organization cannot see or interact with another organization’s data, even if they share the same Beelocity platform.
This multi-tenant design means a single Beelocity deployment can serve many independent businesses without any risk of data crossing between them.
Key Properties
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The display name shown in the sidebar and throughout the interface (e.g., “Bouzerzour Trading”). Can be changed at any time. |
| Code | A short, unique identifier (e.g., BZT). Set at creation and permanent — it cannot be changed because it is referenced throughout the system. |
| Default language | The default locale for the organization’s interface. Individual users may have their own preference. |
The Dashboard
After signing in, you land on the Dashboard — the home page of your organization. The dashboard provides a visual overview of your warehouse layout and serves as a quick orientation point.
Navigating Beelocity
The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. It organizes features into logical groups:
| Section | What you will find |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Your organization’s home page |
| Inventory | Products, warehouses, stock levels, movements, transfers, adjustments, journal, alerts, cycle counts, and units of measure |
| Business Partners | Partners (suppliers/clients), categories, payment terms |
| Procurement | Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts |
| Access Control | Roles, members, invitations, policies, row/field rules, hierarchy, delegations |
| Organizations | Manage your organizations |
Some navigation items are only visible if you have the required permission. For example, you will not see the Access Control section unless your role grants access to it.
Multi-Organization Membership
A single user account can be a member of multiple organizations. In each one, you can have different roles and permissions. For example, someone might be an Owner in their own company but a read-only auditor in a client’s organization.
Switch between organizations from the user avatar menu in the top-right corner. The currently active organization is displayed in the sidebar header. All data you see and all actions you take apply to the active organization only — switching organizations gives you an entirely different workspace.
